message from Jim Sparks to Jim Fisher:

Jim,

Great to hear from you, I hope all is well with you and the family. I just got in from a mission, we have been providing security for convoys in western Iraq (Anbar Province) and Baghdad. I am in charge of a 26 man
squad. Please let everyone you talk to know what a great job these young men have done for their country. Bush was right on the money when it came to the troop surge. This has been a lot less violent then my last tour. We had our first contact a few nights ago in the City of Ramadi, some small arms fire. No injuries and all went well. I hope the pictures loaded alright.

Take care and stay safe,
Jim Sparks

message from Jim Sparks to Jim Fisher:

Jim,

A short note, all is well here. Concentrating on keeping my guys focused on the job at hand, while our time gets shorter. I am sure you understand I cannot give the time line out. However I will say I am looking forward to coming home. I cannot thank my friends and family in Fauquier County enough, along with all the others in the Commonwealth of Virginia that have supported my Troops and I. Enclosed is a picture of one of my top gunners, Tyler Butterworth of Fairfax County. I wish you and everyone all the Best, and a BIG THANK YOU!

Take care and stay safe,
Jim Sparks
